Dr Cynthia Ngwenya, known to her patients as Dr Zan, is a specialist Obstetrician
and a Gynaecologist with extensive training and experience in women’s health.
She holds a BSc and MBChB, with specialist qualifications including DipObs
(CMSA), FCOG (CMSA), and MMed (Wits) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Zan is
skilled in the management of both low and high-risk pregnancies and provides a
full spectrum of gynaecological care.
She has a particular interest in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery,
supported by GESEA certification, as well as infertility and reproductive
medicine.
Dr Zan’s approach is rooted in clear communication, patient education, and
shared decisionmaking — ensuring every woman feels informed, respected, and
supported.
